Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Brethreign: the website at brethreign.com and the Brethreign apps for iPhone and Android. By creating an account or using Brethreign, you agree to them, to our Community Guidelines and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can join

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent's or guardian's permission. You are responsible for your account, so keep your password safe and tell us if you think someone else has used it.

2. No tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users

Brethreign is a place of encouragement. You agree not to post, send or share anything that:

• harasses, bullies, threatens or demeans anyone;
• is hateful toward people because of race, ethnicity, nationality, sex, disability, religion or denomination;
• is sexually explicit, violent or graphic;
• encourages self-harm, or puts anyone at risk;
• shares other people's private information without their consent;
• is spam, a scam or misleading, or impersonates someone; or
• breaks the law or infringes someone else's rights.

We review reports and act on them, usually within 24 hours. We may remove content and suspend or permanently remove accounts that break these rules, without notice. Anyone who posts objectionable content or abuses others may lose their account.

3. Reporting and blocking

You can report any post, comment or message using the flag option, and you can block anyone from messaging you. Our moderators review every report. Our Child Safety Standards explain how we protect young people.

4. Your content

You own what you share. By posting on Brethreign, you give us permission to store and display it to the people you share it with, and to adapt its format (for example, resizing images) so it works across the website and apps. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except where others have already reshared or quoted it. Only post content you have the right to share.

5. Not professional advice

Brethreign is a community for fellowship and prayer. It does not provide medical, mental-health, legal or financial advice, and what members share is not a substitute for a qualified professional. If you or someone else is in danger, contact your local emergency services straight away.

6. The service

We work hard to keep Brethreign running well, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Brethreign, or for what other members post.

7. Leaving

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete Account. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.

8. Changes

If we make significant changes to these terms, we will let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Brethreign after that means you accept the updated terms.
